Okay, that kid was pretty dumb, but you also broke a few survival rules. Why were you standing in the middle of the road along a coastline? You're very lucky you weren't immediately shot. The whole exchange took way too long. The way the kid asked "Why the fuck aren't you..." should've been your first clue that he was secretly hostile. And when somebody says "wait wait wait!" when you're trying to leave... never listen. It means they need you to hold still for just a bit longer.

Yeah at this point in time i was pretty bored and wasn't worried about dying the reason for me standing in the middle of the road. Its more of an experiment to see how players will act.

I didn't get it on video but i was at kamyshovo...I shit you not, every spawn i came across just tried killing me there were about 5 in total over the spam or 10 minutes i then approach a gun guy he needed food i gave him some, some time later he kills me while showing a new spawn the well, then insults me....worst fucking server I ever played on.

I will record more encounters later and see if it goes any better. So far the majority will either swear at me then try to punch me to death or will charge at me with swinging fists. I am determined to find some friendly players though.

Oh you...but no honestly that night was bad, like really bad I was literally trying to GIVE my shit away and BACK TO BACK the same session i get killed while offering my stuff cause i know where to get alot...I mean it was literally the worst experience I ever had.

 

The fact that the game has NO way to ACTUALLY instill fear or risk at the level of losing your actual life, the game will forever be a troll fest, cause in real life people wouldn't just kill you after you save their life, FFS the governor one of the most ruthless mother fuckers ive seen in post apocalyptic media didn't even kill the people who saved him...its just not done. Maybe years down the line but not 5 minutes after saving their life...and when people are trying to GIVE you help and you say LOL FUCK IT LETS KILL HIM...its just no.

 

Honestly its not all on the people its on the game too, its up to the game to GIVE alternatives and other options besides LOL FUCK IT LETS KILL. There needs to be a clear message that "hey more people=easier survival".

Alone is doable but you will struggle the longer you are alone. Right now its the complete opposite pretty much.

I usually tell them to stay at a certain distance which is out of melee distance, And then i place the goods on the ground! However i never give free stuff to kids! As they're most likely from the COD community and are overall usually annoying!

We are out there. I put together some clips of a number of friendly encounters I had over the weekend.

 

Today, however, I had the pleasure of being shot in the back while unarmed. Such is life :)

I don't think so im pretty sure he thought i was just attacking a random fresh spawn when obviously i wasn't it would be awesome if he did see the video but i doubt it.

Why are you not playing on hardcore? Does seeing your character walk around really mean so much to you?

Also, wearing a payday mask heavily increases the risk of you being KOS'ed, just so you know that.

I like being able to see what actions my character is doing sometimes i find it hard to tell if my character in doing certain things in hardcore mode. I'm also a big fan of RPGs like dark souls so am in to customizing my character and like being able to see how he/she looks. Simple
