==Mod Suggestions==

I've assembled this becuase the mod will likely remain popular for some time, and i feel these suggestions would make it more interesting. Open for criticism/comments and more ideas.

I've tried to keep everything so it would be code-only. No new models or anything. Everything is in Arma II.

 

1: More skins. There are plenty of civilian and military skins in arma that would be great. CDF clothing of various types, Farmer, villager ect. Any chance for these? Also, any chance fkr more female skins?

 

2: These are just some suggested weapon attachment combos.all models already in Arma.

Sa.58p/v (more common now) customizable with Red Dot and Acog

AK-74 customizable with GP-25, PSO and Kobra

M16A2 + CCO =M16A4 (CCO attached, renamed M16A2 CCO?) + M203 = M16A2 M203/Acog

M240 more common, + CCO = Mk.48 M.O

M14 AIM + Sniper scope = DMR

Makarov + Suppressor = Makarov SD

M4A1 CCO + Flaahlight = M4A3 CCO

Bizon + Suppressor = Bizon SD.

 

 3: Helicopters more fragile - Hull is basically indestructible rn

 

4: More base building - Earthen Ramparts, other tent types, barrels of water, wooden fences, ect. All models in Arma.

 

5: PKM added. Can be added to pickup to make pickup PKM.

 

6: Changes to sniper rifles: Ammo less common, more recoil for DMR.

 

7: Crops: plant crops, grow over time. Crop models already in arma.

 

8: Aviation fuel: certain gas tanks give aviation fuel (like at airfields) and aircraft can only use said fuel.

 

9: weapon spawns changed a bit. AK-74s and AKMs are a bit to rare now, should be buffed. M16s and M4s should be rarer. G36s rarer, more M16s and such at crashsights.

 

10: not sure if possible, but zombies run in straight line at target. Also, 2nd animation for indoors: slightly faster.

 

RAZOR, (or any mod dev, not sure of any others) if you could let me know you've seen this, and is possible, give me an idea of which of these are being/have been considered and which one are actaully possible, i would greatly appreciate it.

Well, for the attachments, dayzero made it, so it's surely possible, i dont even know why dont they implement it on the vanilla mod.

 

It's not that hard, you loot the attachment and the weapon, use a "attach optics" option, tha game eats your weapon and your attachment and gives you the 'unified' version of them.

 

I'm sure pkm was in the mod some time ago, dont know why they got it out tho.

 

The ACE mechanics for sniping would resolve all the problems involving DMR/SVD shot spamming and such, sniping would become a pain in the ass.

 

 

For crops, i dont think you can do that in arma 2 engine.

 

And zombies run around because of the glitchy AI code that have the bullet-dodging serpentine included in it, as the zombies are basically modified arma 2 AI soldiers.

Weapon attachments are being added to the vanilla mod. 

 

Pkm was never in

 

I doubt that they'll add ACE, because i think they're trying to keep it their own as much as possible

 

Why wouldn't crops be possible? Just make a persistent item that grows every few days. They can make gents disappear after a week, why not crops grow?

 

I know why zombies are like that, i was wondering if it was even possible for them to fix it.
