Do zombies respawn with server, or on a separate timer?

I am curious to know whether zombies, who have been killed, respawn only when the server restarts, or if they have their own sort of respawn timer?

Only on restart right now a actual respawn timer is in the works and will be released soon

Window Licker, as usual, is correct.  Zombie respawn and loot respawn are not in game yet.  Only a server restart will repopulate them.

Okay, thanks guys. This really helps, for those times I scope out a location and see no zombies. Kind of stinks, too. They could have been cleared out 2 hours ago, or two minutes ago. Ha!
