Von Derp 8 Posted February 21, 2014 Now this is the first time I played since the most recent update and my pings are fine on every game but this one (50 ping or lower on other games). With this game I get 150+ pings, even on servers on the east coast (Where I'm located). I had no problems with this prier to the update. Does anyone know of a fix, or could tell me why this is? Phineas 56 Posted February 21, 2014 Try a speed test on a network provider site, your ISP may offer a speed test. If you use cable it could be neighbors. If you share it could be roommates or family watching netflix. It could be a lot of things, including the alpha nature of the game, or your ISP throttling you thinking the protocol is something they do not like. A sticky wicket. Black Dynamite 75 Posted February 21, 2014 The 'bandwidth' value appears to be measuring connection speed in kbps. I'm not sure about band however. I've seen it go absolutely fucking crazy, and it correlates with traffic on my NIC going absolutely fucking crazy. So yes. Latency is not a good indicator for this, by the way.
