Items fall into water?

ALL of my items just fell into the water after I accidently fell from a dock. How can I obtain those items?

The Arma 2 engine this mod is based on is the bestest most polishdid engine ever. it has Zero Bugs or any issues - so losing stuff in da Drink is just bad lucksies

When I dropped my stuff getting to my boat, I just proned and crawled over to it.

Sooo I just went from AK-47, alice pack full of medicine and ammo to basically starting over.

On top of that, I spent too much time trying to figure out how to get my stuff back from the ocean and my temperature fell down so I got cold. Now I'm sick and losing blood and can't stop it because all of my medicine was in my bag. I just went from great gear to 0 in one second by touching the water.

Its a known bug.

Feature/design choice - not a bug. This dates back to how ARMA2 functions. That being said, it is possible to disable the behaviour within the engine for DayZ if it becomes a meaningful feature.

Thanks for telling that, before i crossed water! Lost all gear, :D
