General Question: Turbo vs. Double-Tap W

Hi there,

 

I've been playing for a few weeks now, and I have always had this question. Is double-pressing W the same as turbo? Initially turbo is not assigned a key, which I assigned the windows button to. But, there appears to be no difference between the two.

 

Just wished clarification from some more seasoned players.

Yes. You have to stop moving (briefly release the W key) in order to start sprinting, with turbo you can transition to sprinting seamlessly. That's the only difference.
