Equipment lost after server change

Hey community,

 

I got a serious issue here =)

I'm playing DayZ (standalone, Steam) with 2 friends. And most of the time we change the server, all our equipment is gone and our character got reseted.

That is really annoying if u have to start all over again every time...xD

 

Anyway, I allready asked Google for help and I found two possible reasons.

 

1.) It was a known bug and got fixed a while ago. (in this case, this should not happen at all since we're playing on server running version 35.115188)

 

2.) Some servers are not on the "white list", so they don't communicate with other servers. All progress is lost after leaving the server.

- If that's the case, how can u find out, which server is "safe" to play on ?

- Is there like a list of compatible server ?

 

 

Can anybody help me ? Or is there an official statement ? Is there anybody who knows how to fix that ?

For my actual solution: Deal with it until the next update because it is fixed in experimental or start playing experimental. Don't join Hardcore servers when you normally play Regular and vice versa because the hives are different.

That was all I could find. And since I read that  it was fixed with an update a while ago, I thought that should not happen anymore.

 

So it seems like the fix did not work ? =)

 

P.S: I never join any hardcore server, regular is fine for me :)

Doesn't seem like it but if all goes to plan then the experimental should become stable tomorrow at 1700 my time (Australian Eastern Standard Time) or GMT 0700 when all official servers go down for a 3hr maintenance period weekly. Currently no change log has been updated/made but testing has shown the experimental servers are GTG in my opinion.
