My character, progress, gear - All Wiped. Why?

I was just exploring on this server and suddenly the game didn't crash, it just went black:

"Your items have been wiped, an administrator has been notified" or something to that effect

Now I don't have any of the gear that I've spent so many hours to aquire.

This is very upsetting. I feel like I've been robbed.

-Is there any way to retrieve all the gear I've lost?

-Any solution at all?

Happen to me few days ago. Try changing servers, if it's your newspawn hit exit without moving until you get your old character back. Otherwise just head to big towns and airfield to get your stuffs back, it's not that hard
