Have been trying to join a server for 3 days. . .

I recently got Arma 2 and OA. For some reason no matter what server I join I get "Bad CD Key" or whatever. Ok. Fine, ill just use Tunngle and connect to land games. Nope! I always get some type of error. Ranging from the infinite loading screen to being stuck on "Creating Character" or getting kicked as soon as I join and on one server I can join but I dont start with alot of the basic items, no debug menu, cant see items or zombies. Can somone please help me with these issues? I would really like to play the game. . .atleast once. . .

I have the exact same problem as you. I tried so many methods of installation yet it still did not work.

Download the latest beta patch from here. http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php. There is a guide on these forums detailing how to install, so I would recommend checking that out.
