Bleeding itself

Recommended Posts

Simple.

When you're bleeding you attract zombies in a much larger radius who are more alert to the fact that someone is bleeding, possibly making it much more difficult if you're becoming attacked or even worse: Shot.

A scenario would be when you're sneaking around town when a sniper hits your leg from the trees and you're bleeding down at 9k health (Hypothetical) and now the entire down is running down the street attempting to eat your tasty brains.

When you're bleeding, and have the blood visibly leaving your body, yes.

When you got to XXXX health and managed to staunch the wound, no. Vision loss and fainting is already a weakness enough at lower blood levels.

Perhaps, but if you're visibly bleeding and can bandage it? It would make it even worse if they ran up to you trying to kill you as you bandage yourself, encouraging more teamwork around towns/cities.

Oh yeah, if you're in the process of bandaging then sure. One can assume the blood is coming out at a declining rate during that.

Yes, I really hope something like this may be put into the game in the future, giving a more group based efforts if someone gets hit.

Sorry I disagree. When you get shot or you get hurt and bleed, the blood doesn't just spill out like a fountain unless it was your jugular or an artery was hit. You have clothing on you which would soak most of the blood.

Having the zombies smell blood would be annoying, there's already the noise factor and spot factor in. I, for so many times got chased, while bleeding, managed to shoot those zombies and bandage myself, or one time I desperately ran inside a house and found bandages while bleeding. Having the zombies smell blood would just ruin your chances. It's already hard to get rid of chasers when without ammo and no houses nearby.

The scenario you have presented is rare as well : Usually when you get sniped you're dead, and most likely there wouldn't be zombies in your reach because the sniper would have a hard time to hit you while you'd be running from zombies anyway.

Let's not forget those are zombies, not sharks.
