Hi all,

 

I have been playing the game about three weeks now and love it so far. I had a question to ask you so here it is

 

: What do you do when you have to go away from the keyboard? Be it a bathroom break, listen to the wife nag or just get a beer?

 

A) Find a spot in the woods with trees or bushes, go prone and pray you are alive when you come back (this is what I do)

 B)Just go no matter where I'm at, I can always get more gear

C) Find a house no one would search, shut the door and hope for the best

D) Stock up on adult depends and never leave the keyboard.

E) Log out anytime I'm away from the keyboard

F) Your smart or witty idea here

 

When I go away, even if it is to the fridge and back, I always worry I will come back to the black screen of death, never knowing who my killer was.

F) Go to the center of town, take off your pants, and bend over.

 

In all seriousness, it just depends on the situation.  If you feel like the area is really hot right now and you need to go away for more than 30 seconds, it's probably best to do so.  Other times, you can leave your guy wherever for an hour and no harm will come to you.  Just use your best judgement of the situation, in game and out.

 

Just be aware, there is a log out animation, where your character stays in game and can be harmed for about 30 sec, so it's best to find cover anyways.

find a pine tree in the forest an afk. pine trees provide the best cover.

Usually A or C, depending on the situation. If I need to piss in real life, I treat it as I need to piss in the game. Walk into a pine tree and I do my business.
