I lost all my loot?

I had all my slots filled up. guns, ammo, food. I re-logged into the game and I started at zero. This happened to me before and I switched servers and it worked. Why is this happening?

For starters its alpha, so losing gear is going to happen a lot. If you exit a server, your character sits down in game for 30 seconds, giving people a window of opportunity to kill you. Also, if you join sketchy servers there can be a good chance your character will be deleted.

Also, 2 hives. Hardcore and normal characters do not cross between. So you may have joined the other hive.

I -think- the most probably reason you started fresh was because someone shot you as you spawned in, or as you were changing servers.

Some servers have problems with connecting to the main hive, where the database is in. These servers are not collecting and sending information to the database properly, thus, you spawn at zero.

Happend to me too this morning. I just wanted to make a few more miles towards Svetlojarsk before work. Suddenly I saw the disconnect counter, got kicked, relogged annnnd respawnnn.

And I was so well equiped. I had it all a M4 with everything on it, an FNX45, firemans ax, food, drugs, water clothes. I even found an SKS on the way ten minutes before..wahhh I DIDN'T EVEN DIE I DIDN'T DIE !!!!
