a new gamemod.

 

you klick "10 vs 10". the game begins, only in ONE city. maybe electro. then booth teams fight and the winner team becomes a unique item as reward. maybe a nightvision?

 

why is all loot form dead opponents ruined? i take shots. then i fire back and i kill the opponent. then i try to loot him and all his items are ruined. i cant use anything. maybe fix this?

This isn't Call of Duty, that's why.

 

 

 

This is not a "Team Deathmatch" type of game, or any of those game types. This is a survival game first and foremost.

Secondly the damage to items is being worked on right now, because (like everything) it isn't finished.

Just going to add that items are damaged because you're shooting at him. The items are on his body. If you are shooting him in the back (where his backpack is), you will damage the items found in his backpack. However if you are shooting him in the back and ALL of his items are ruined, you may perhaps want to report this as a bug.

It's a known bug already, it's just that the way the damage system works is that you deal damage to someone after you kill their gear.

This sort of ad-hoc stuff is totally "no" in DayZ. It just does not belong here. I am puzzled why people so often don't seem to get that ...

 

Sure, arrange such matches and give the winner prizes or what ever. (Well, odds are that wouldn't quite work out as intended.) But there will be no force game mechanic for that.
