Sticks From Chopping Bushes?

Is it possible to implement getting sticks when chopping up bushes?

 

At the moment, nothing happens when you chop down a bush (except for the model of the bush to fall down).

I don't think it is possible to chop down small or big trees by now.

 

But hacking a bush with a blade weapon should produce sticks. Would be a nice to have with the current problems of falling from everything and breaking a leg.

Hell, I was disconnected from a server today (restart) and as I reconnected, I spawned a few hundred meters in the direction I came from on an open field and broke my legs from nothing. ;)
