It would be really awesome if there is a journal that automatically records a players name, and stats (such as; days survived, zombies killed, murders, bandit kills, where theyve been etc)

This would be really cool because if you find a dead body, or kill someone, you can find out bits of their story, and would add a whole other depth to the game, and immerse players more in tragic events.

I'd just be happy to have a journal as an item that can be found. Be able to write about what I've done in it (or just whatever I feel like). I feel like it could make the game deeper and also have the potential to ad some comedic relief.

This would be amazing to have. I like both ideas the journal and TownFunk's idea.

Have it AUTO SAVE the player's name and stats, etc.

But also have the option to ADD little details. Player could write "Stopped at gas station, killed pig, heard gun shots, ducked into the woods, hiked for a few miles to find blood bags"

I think that would be amazing. Who knows, it could add a nice thing to read while sitting around your camp fire?

and then there would be another purpose for the campfire. it would bring the game a little close to life.

yeah mate, i totally agree, it would add another dimension to palyer interactivity with themselfves, and other players and expand on more possibilities that could come about through journals.
