When are we going to be able to dig a hole and put our stuff in it? Tents are out in the open and very easy to see.

I agree with this. Why do we need to find a rare item like a tent to stash a few items in a tree stump?

I can see a limitation of one or two stashes to save on processor power and some chance that they be found and robbed. Also, they disappear when we die? or shortly after like a tent. (I have been playing the game for over 30 hours in game time and have never seen a tent)
