Hi y`all,

 

My name is CHiEF (and Ewoot who is copying this post to correct topic),  dayz admin for United gamers. You might know our server as one of the best taviana 2.0  servers around, and I`d like to inform you guys about our PVP weekend madness coming up, starting tomorrow (14-02-14 ) and ending sunday (16-02-14)

For all freshspawns during this weekend, we have implemented a loadout containing the following :

• MK12  SPR  sniper rifle  with 3 magazines
• Toolbox
• 1 Meat / 1 drink
• 2 Bandages /  1 morphine / 1 bloodbag
• Makarov side arm  w/mags

We`ve increased the number of heli crashes and while we were at it:

• we fixed a bug in the refuel script,
• we fixed a bug in the "remove parts from vehicles" script
• we have added the self-bloodbag option.

ps2. The starting gear has already been setup and is active now :rolleyes:. But do remember we have a full vehicle reset @ 7PM GMT+1 (Dutch time) or 6PM (UK time)

We are running DayzTaviana 2.0, but it's not a default server. Yesterday evening we have added some extra scripts and features, i will list everything we have now:

• Always day
• Almost 800 vehicle spawns, we have completely reworked the spawns so no single default spawn.
• Tow & lift script, but restricted. You need a heavy vehicle to tow a lighter vehicle and you can only tow 1 vehicle.
• Self bloodbag with 10% of getting infected
• Lots of heli crashes, carepackages, truck and humvee crashes. We have written this script by ourselves and do not use the scripts all other servers are using. This way we can better manage what weapons spawn and this way have a better balance. Also all the crashes spawn randomly across the 2 island, so not just on the mountains, everywhere!
• Random player spawn locations. You spawn randomly next to the water on both islands and yes this is completely random. Small chance of getting spawn raped.
• Remove vehicle parts so you can use the parts to repair another vehicle
• Extra barracks and other buildings across the map
• Custom written admin panel. Our admins do not have a map, cannot edit inventories (just view), cannot teleport. All the actions they can do (kick, warn, ban, comment on a player) are logged so every admin can see what other admins have done. This is to prevent admin abuse and if it happens, we can spot it and deal with the admin.
• Active and supportive admins!
• And last but not least we have a anti backpack dupe script to prevent people duping by using the backpack bug. This one is also self written and does work!

We spent a lot of time to make the server the best Taviana server (focussed on PvP) around. We have been around for a while now and always had a full server (almost 2 full servers) unfortunately at the moment Taviana EU version stopped support, our Vilayer servers stopped working to. Vilayer unfortunately never responded to our support ticket and never solved the problem. So we jumped to hosting the server ourselves and that entire ordeal caused us to lose a big part of our players.

 

I really do hope you all drop by and play on our server and enjoy "the PvP, the scavenging and the surviving" fun DayZ mod and our additions brings us. I'm looking forward to not trust you guys ingame and getting backstapped ;-)
