Black flashing?

Since the last patch (not today's hot fix), I seem to be getting black flashes every now and again.

It seems to happen more when the server is changing from day to night and it is very annoying. It only flashes for a millisecond but it's off putting.

Could this be down to one of my graphical options? I haven't changed anything since the patch. Thanks for any help.

I would check your GPU drivers, smells like some old software in place.
