It's been a bad day for DayZ (for me)

Been shot twice now by people jumping out of walls. Killed both, but both caused me to have broken legs, necessitating crawling for miles until I found either sticks or morphine.

 

Then I glitched off a ladder and broke my legs again, in Dubky, so I had to again crawl down an entire skyscraper and all the way back to Balota where I had to log out and am going to need a friend to come get me at some point later.

 

Let's also not mention that going near any building is now stupidly dangerous because of people clipping through goddam everything so they can see through every environment to see what you're doing.

 

Yes yes, Alpha and all that, but I just want to bitch because I haven't found anyone yet who doesn't know all the exploits, which in turns causes more people to exploit.

There are certain buildings you can go into and then jump into hidden rooms (glitch / exploit). You then have full view of every part of the building because all the walls basically become invisible. So anyone approaching the buildings or inside the building is easily visible. Then when they least suspect it, you vault out.

 

I know most of the spots, so I always keep my view in 3rd person and free look behind me so they think I'm not looking. As soon as I see them starting to clip through, I whirl around and unload, but every now and then there are environmental issues so not all my rounds will hit and they'll get a shot or two off, which is how I broke my legs two out of the three times today.... which is annoying, because finding ONE morphine pen is a pain in the ass, but finding 3?!? I somehow had 2, but now I'm just crawling all over Balota with dangly legs.
