Froazin 0 Posted February 12, 2014 Every attempt to connect to a DayZ server results in an error message that says "Bad version, server reject connection". I'm led to believe that other's are having this problem as well. I have worked out that the cause of the problem is the recent update to 0.34.115188 has left some people behind on 0.34.115182. I've verified this because there are a couple of experimenting servers that still use the .115182 patch that I have been able to connect to just fine. I have tried the following to fix the problem, none of which have worked;- I have restarted and updated steam.- I have restarted my computer.- I have force updated dayz to no avail by opting out and back in of the beta version in game properties.- I have validated the game cache. The only thing I haven't done is completely uninstalling and re-installing DayZ, I'm trying to avoid this because my download speed is awful. If anyone has any other suggestions to fix the issue, I would appreciate it. If you're also having this problem be sure to bump the issue as it's a tough one.
