What happened to the weapons?

I logged in first on an empty server went to cherno to check

the (usuall) Buldings for guns.

There were countless fireaxes but i found only one 45 pistol (without mag of course ;)

No magnum, no rifle just nothing....

And i searched in cherno for about 30 minutes on an restarted empty sever????

I think for a chance on better/more weapons a visit to a military base/airfield will not hurt much, It's worth a shot, play careful and carry at least a fire axe.

shit just became gladiatorial!! I don't think the new servers are up yet, I just tried to join a couple anxious to see has my character survived my fps problems where i'd imagine I've been a sitting duck up by the nwaf every time my client crashed, even though the servers say they are running the new build they load na earlier version. So it might have something to do with maintance.

I just found a sks & shotgun in one building in Cherno.. i left them both!  If weapons were predictably always there and in the same place something would be seriously wrong.

The guns are still around, the spawns have just been spread around a lot more, which I like I've found M4's in locations that aren't the military base, although the spawn rate is particularly low for those locations.  I've found that getting guns is generally fairly easy away from the cities, however the ammo spawns are lower in those area's in my experience.

Just found a mosin and two sks's in cherno on a server that had been up for a while. Just gottw know where to look. ( Hint: TEC buildings and Piano houses)
