Context, learn what it is.

In this context I am using western to describe the classic American west.

Don't take a tone with me like I'm stupid. In the context of my post, which you replied to, I was using "western" to describe the so-called western world.

Alright sorry bout that, I was also responding to irishroy, whose post indicated the other usage, but lets examine what you are saying about the guns from the "western world".

Chernarus is based on the Czech Republic, a country that shares a border with  Germany

Magnum-western

10/22-western

FNX 45 despite its Belgian parents its made in America - western

M4 Among its users the Czech Army, can't get more appropriate than that - appropriate

B95 German-appropriate

Mosin Russian- appropriate

SKS Russian- appropriate

izh43 Russian- appropriate

The finally tally? 3 inappropriate weapons 5 that fit.

Please do some research in the future before complaining about "western" weapons or immersion in general if you don't like people using a "tone" with you.....

Using the word western in your context is fine for your list. Remember, you responded to something I said that was not directed at you and I told you what context my post was in, so that should really have settled this discussion. Were you really so desperate for the "last word" that you only replied to me in order to needlessly insult my intelligence again?

"Please do some research in the future"? Please get over yourself.

That list I just posted is to the context of "western world" based on Chernarus being based on the Czech Republic (as stated on the wiki).

I think Chernarus is based on Czech Republic only in the meaning that the terrain that was used is located in Czech Republic IRL. I've never been to Czech Republic but I live in Russia and when I look at Chernarus in game I see Russia. Most texts are in Russian language, the style in which things are made, like those road signs are exactly like road signs we have here, in front of every town and village. Then there are those concrete walls made of sections, like the one around NWAF, you can see walls exactly like that everywhere in Russia. And the name "Chernarus" means "Black Russia". There is a country IRL called Belarus which means "White Russia" and it is fairly similar to Russia in many aspects, so maybe it actually based on that country or some combination of both plus a flavor of Czech Republic.

I believe most of the 'usa' type weapons are because of the U.N.

I also don't care if they skew it a bit to get items like this into the game :)

Ehm, m4 and magnum.

The M4 is used by units of the military in the country Chernarus is based on you can call it western, but as its a gun that should be there I wouldn't.

Until someone can find a better source I am going of this.

A wiki isn't the best of sources but it is the best I have been able to find.

Please rephrase or elaborate. I'm sorry but I have no idea what you are trying to say here.

Bohemia interactive is located in the Czech Republic, Chernarus is allegedly based on the Czech Republic, several units of the Czech Military use the Bushmaster M4A3.

They are not the only country in the region whose military uses M4's to one extent or another.

Calling the M4 western while accurate in its way is also completely wrong, The USA is the worlds largest arms dealer, M4s and M4 variants have been manufactured around the world either under contract/licensee or as rip offs. 50+ countries from America to Africa to Asia and everywhere in between issue M4s or M4 variants to either their military or police.
