NVG and GPS questions.

Recommended Posts

I've got both of them luckily, and ive noticed that at night zombies agro more easily or the same rate as daytime while ive got NVG on? dont suppose that is normal.

And with GPS some servers show me on the big map (press M) and some dont? is this supposed to be like this?

and top of that what does CH mean? some servers say ''ch:on'' or off.

I've also been able to see 1 guy on the map, a fairly accurate marker(he was 2 minutes away from me when i was looking at the map). Neither him or me had a GPS tho.

Players on maps have nothing to do with GPS. According to my experience it's a serverside difficulty setting. On "easy" servers you can see your teammates' and your own position on the map while on servers with higher difficulty setting you cant.

Other serverside ways to change the difficulty/realism are enabling/disabling crosshairs (ch), 3rd person view, nametags or global chat. Usually the server settings are mentioned somewhere in the server name (or at least some sort of general classification (i.e. veteran, expert or whatnot)
