30% gpu load in game 70-95% waiting to log in.

Recommended Posts

hey, when I play this game, I have my gpu/cpu/memory monitors on the right hand side. When I am logging in GPU goes up toi 90%. But while in game it only goes around 30-41 %. I also noticed my Vram is hitting about 2100 out of 4gb. it wont go higher then that and when it hits that high I lag like crazy even tho I have 2 more gigs of memory (vram) to spare.

What do you use to monitor GPU, CPU and memory? I could really use this as i try to still adjust my game daily.... As i am trying got get it to use all my resources effeciently.

I noticed with this buggy lag infested update, my PC is probably running 3 times hotter than it was before and thats no exaggeration. My laptop for the most part has always ran cool... but after the lag spikes and bugs in this last patch, it has turned into a fingertip heater....

that's the arma engine for you right there. CPU heavy as hell while the GPU just sits there and whistles eventhough it could be doing a lot of the work the CPU is doing.

something i really hope, but also REALLY doubt will ever gets fixed. It's something bohemia needs to do and seeing as after 12 years they still can't fix this shit engine i'd say all hope is lost.

Yep the game engine is not very good imo.  I have Crossfire 2x 6870 Radeons and FX-8150 8 Core Cpu.

The game does not support crossfire or sli at all. Only way to get few fps using CF is to manually force it to use it but it does not work well many issues and not using the gpu's well.

Game runs very badly with AMD cpus even with this "optimization launch commands" to compare to Intel and Nvidia based CPU & GPU setups they work well without any hassle.

And this is a fact we have 4 computers and both AMD users have serious issues with the fps compared to Intel & Nvidia hardware.
