DrSubs 18 Posted February 9, 2014 Ok so iv had my character for about two weeks or so and have had plenty of hours of fun with him, until about a hour ago. I had just finished looting one of the school buildings and was on the roof shooting zombies for fun. After I killed all of the ones I could see I walked over to ladder and clicked to go down. That's when It happened. My character turned around to go down ladder then just jumped off down to the bottom landing about 5 feet away from ladder. Killed me instantly. Iv seen it before where you desync and it looks like you popped down but you always go back and your fine. Never had it actually happen and kill me. Before you all say Its an alpha, I know and I'm not complaining, just curious if anyone else has had that happen because iv put about 200 hours in and that was the first time. MrJoeDirty 34 Posted February 9, 2014 Yep, i had a ladder of death experience. I don't know the correct name for the building, but its the large red tin buildings. They are like a large warehouse and have a ladder going straght up in the middle of it, as well as a stair case on the outside. The time it happened to my i had ~30 ping to the server and 0 desync. I was about to the top of the ladder and my guy just seemingly let go. I quickly fell to my death... the end :( Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

blissfulkunt 196 Posted February 10, 2014 I have yet to die from a ladder, I have had the wierd desync thing happen where it looks like you fell then warp back. However, STAIRS are soooo deadly, NEVER RUN on STAIRS lol, sometimes you just instantly die. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

shael6636 10 Posted February 10, 2014 Ive died about 5 times from ladders and the "vaulting effect" it doesnt always happen but when it does its rather frustrating. Its safer just not to go up ladders if you can avoid it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
