IS it just me, or does getting hit by a zombie now sound like you are getting shot? It makes like a riccochet sound?

Yes.

 

It's most scarry when you fight zed near the pine tree, it hears like being shoot from carabine.

Can't say I have experienced this... still sounds like the very hallow thud.

Edit; Could see one hitting the ricochet trees and making the sound haha.
