Extrem lags and freeze, when friend connects

Since the 07.02.2014 me and my friend got a problem. Before that date we had no problems playing together. Now I can play alone for a long time (Just testet 1 hour). In the moment my friend connects to the server i get a huge lag and finally the game freezes and i need to shoot it. It doesnt matter how long i am on the server (1 min, 5 min or 1 hour) at the moment he connects, the lags start immediatly. He is also not able to play alone for more than 10 min.

 

We really have no idea what could cause that problem and would be pleased to get a solution as soon as possible.

I don't see why they can't just put a hotfix in for this...Why torment us with waiting for a new patch...
