Are new patches tested by the Dev Team before-hand?

Recommended Posts

Just making me think if they roll the patch out without testing it for a few hours before hand, given that the amount of server instability is incredible, more than what it was before any other previous patch?

Thanks for shedding some light on the FPS related bugs in dynamic weather changes.

If you've read the changelog, you should have known that patches are normally tested, but this patch was unexpectedly pushed to fix a major critical issue. We were warned of potential instability.

No they dont test it they just release it and hope for the best.

Of course they test it but there is only so much testing a certain amount of people can do, remember this game takes a long time to do just about anything and these guys are at work not at home chilling, so yes it does get tested but not as much as most would like.

Also they can test one server and have no problems but rolling that patch out to thousands of servers can cause any number of further problems they would never have been able to find in testing.

Have patience and the game will become what you want it to be and also take note of what the guy above me said, we were all warned.
