I think DayZ hates me....

Before reading, I just want to point out this isn't another "OMFG DAYZ HAS (insert repeated issue here) FUCK THIS GAME I'M NOT PLAYING TIL FIX." thread. I'm merely posting this as I find it somewhat humourous and wish to share my experiences.

So, I've had DayZ about a week now - and I did find it difficult to begin with, even spawning with a weapon. But on about my 4th life, I managed to get some semi-decent loot which I did the noob thing and got too attached to it - to the point of engaging a guy who was minding his own business with an AK, firing a persistent amount of Makarov into him as my Winchester was out. Surprisingly I survived and got a nice AK out of it. (I no longer engage anyone unless they engage first - I was a noob give me a break :P)

Anyway, I loaded in one day with this character and what should I find - I spawn in a huge open area with a load of Survivors just standing there staring into space. I took one step forward in confusion and heard a gunshot, to which I promptly dropped dead. Now, I class this as a glitch that killed me so I don't really mind too much and I shrugged it off and spawned again.

I spawned near Cherno - headed in and what should I find, but there to be very few zombies, to the point where I could sprint around pretty much all the time and cause no aggro. I could hear the occasional gunshot which I tried to stear clear of the direction it came from. I managed to get some alright loot, such as a map, coke, matches, watch, 10+ bandages and a makarov with 6 mags + other things. I left the city as the gunshots were becoming more frequent, even allowing an unarmed player to live along the way. I left the city and entered the gas station nearby. I then timed out, logged back in only to be sent back to the instant before I began looting the city, with zombies all around me. I was one hit into unconsciousness and promptly eaten.

So, I spawn again, this time near Kamehka. I head in, avoid the zombies which had mostly spawned right next to loot and weren't moving - so I had to keep trucking through. I came across a toilet cabin, opened it and found a revolver with ammo. Result! I try to take it.. The game wont let me. I keep trying until I eventually try to get into the toilet and shut the door behind me. I shut the door, which then hits me. This door must have held the rage of all of the shits that had been performed inside, as this single blow caused me to go into shock, suffer broken bones, lose 4k blood and go unconscious. Though I laughed, I can't help but feel DayZ has something against me.

Is this average for players? Does everyone encounter the wrath of Hades in the form of wooden toilets? Or am I profoundly unlucky with this game? I hope to have at least entertained with this post :P
