Walkie Talkie/Transmitter

i used to find these all the time in fire houses... but they were called Transmitters ... now the name has changed to Walkie Talkie... does this mean its working now and has anyone given it a try?

It works but I'm not sure how to use it. I'm sure a slight visit to the gool ol search function would help you on how to use it if that's what you're looking for.

1) Combine walkie talkie with battery 

2) Right click and turn on walkie talkie

3) RIght click to scroll through channels

4) , or . to switch between direct communication and talking into the radio

 

 

Anyone within 1km of you on the same frequency can hear you.

Well good to know because i play it in german and at the moment you can scroll between 5 empty slots ;)

So whatever i may select (i allready figured out that the last one removes the battery :) is open to my personal imagination ;)

A global communication system would get me and my friends (and probably others) to stop using skype.  Wish the walkie-talkies had more range

Skype? Use ventrilo instead. Plenty of public servers out there.
