Battleye Client: Update successfully completed. Restarting...

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I found a few other threads with people whose Battleye client failed to initialize and how to fix, but couldn't find any with the exact problem I am having. My Battleye client is succesfully initializing..over and over and over.

Every few minutes I get

Battleye Client: Update successfully completed. Restarting..

Battleye Client: Initialized (v1.206)

I just keeps repeating. I have tried several servers, and I can play and do not get kicked off. I think I may be getting a performance hit every time this happens, because I also sometimes get infrequent FPS slow downs, but this is anecdotal and I'm not sure its related. I am pretty sure it started the same day the patch went stable, but not sure exactly. It has been happening for several days now, but did not every happen before that.

It isn't keeping me from participating in the Alpha, but I'd like to get it resolved.

I used to have a similar issue on the Mod. Try Launching your DayZ Client as Administrator, it sounds like it doesn't have the permissions to make changes to the contents of the folder. You may also want to try Manually downloading the latest Battleye Client, and overwrite the current files.

Something is obviously wrong with your file permissions. Please go to "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\DayZ" and delete the BE folder there.

I fixed it! I just went to battleye website and downloaded the file manually and it worked after that.

I had the same problem. I had to go to the BE site and download the file twice. The 1st Time didn't fix it. Now it is fixed

This seems to have fixed it! I didn't have to reinstall. Thank you very much for responding here.
