Advent1 126 Posted February 7, 2014 I don't think you can use the sewing kit on vests and such, only shirts/T-shirts and bottoms. I'll get on and double check.

Samuri_Bake_Pie 96 Posted February 7, 2014 Tried using it on my worn TTKsO pants and it did nothing. Do you need rags or something?
Advent1 126 Posted February 7, 2014 Tried using it on my worn TTKsO pants and it did nothing. Do you need rags or something? Not that I know of, I simply used it on my Shirt and it became "worn" from "badly damaged" and the sewing kit became "ruined." I did have rags in my inventory at the time but didn't notice a change to the amount I had.
Samuri_Bake_Pie 96 Posted February 7, 2014 Maybe it only works up to worn. It would make sense seeing as a threaded and patched up pair of pants isn't really pristine.
Gugolas 228 Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Yes, the maximum reached is worn!Tested. Edited February 7, 2014 by Gugolas

Advent1 126 Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Upon testing, it seems only certain types of head gear can be fixed, I tried it on a cowboy hat, didn't work. Tried it on my bandanna, worked fine. It also did not work on my Press vest. When I tried it on the cowboy hat and press vest it said "The sewing kit cannot be used to mend _____"Also, the sewing kit goes down one step of quality per use. So if it's damaged, you only have 2 uses, if its badly damaged, only one use, etc. Edited February 8, 2014 by Advent1
