Character reset

I haven't quite searched for the appropriate forum page to post this but oh well.

 

So I simply logged into a server, it came up in red chat in the bottom left corner 'your character has been reset' and something about an unkown error and an admin has been contacted. Then, I logged out. Then in again onto a different server only to find my items and whatnot have dissapeared. While I understand it's standalone and stuff will go wrong,  I was wondering if there's any way to fix this ? or if anyone else has had similar problems?

7 February 12PM GMT, the stable branch network will be taken down to deploy the update. Please note: it can take game server providers up to 30 minutes to drop their servers. Players who are connected to a game server while the central server drops, are at risk of losing their progress.

Hive is down. Logout inmediately and your character will be back when the hive comes back online.
