Making models

Recommended Posts

Well as most of you (should) know the Mosin and Revolver were fan made. I was wondering how you would do that, as in what program would they have used and how the animations would be worked out?

I want to contribute to this game more than just being an "Early Acess Alpha tester" (in reality just some kid who bought the alpha so he could play SA and rarely checks the bug reporter for something to add or vote up) and i think i could model some things. I have very little hope in actually making something even slightly good enough to be put in (or for me to want to try and send in) and even less hope that it will make it into the game but it's something i'd like to try. If something magical happens and a model that i make is good enough for them to look at then i will be ecstatic.

So, what do i need/should look into.
