Problem with Splitting Axe ?

I cant use it , i equipped it  in the hand but dont hit  or swing , actually dont do anything at all with fire axe seems to be fine.

 

Anyone got this as well ??

So far I haven't been able to replicate the OP's issue, I'd say just another random glitch try rejoining the server or pick a new one
