uncomfortable noise logging in

Recommended Posts

Hi there guys, since this patch, when I log in to the main menu and just after I connect into a server,  a loud noise appears but it seems so bug like 'gshhzzxxshhh' and I need to put down my headsets coz my ears become crazy.

I searched for this issue but I cant find anything related, so is there anybody with the same problem?

I have a Mosin as well. I constantly get this same static both when I'm logging in and randomly as I play. It's quite unnerving

The only thing I can think of that could cause it is a corrupted audio file or something of that sort

Ahahahaahah same here. I remember logging out in the middle of the road before the patch so when I logged back in after the patch I heard some sound that scared the crap out of me. I thought I logged in right in front of someone and they began bashing my skull in.

My sound was a mixture between a bullet ricochet and some other sound. Very loud though.

** EDITED** Mosin here too! Maybe it?

If you have a loaded gun when you log in, people for about 200m hear a very loud loading sound to alert them that an armed player has logged in in their vicinity. Unloading your gun makes this not happen, but than your logging in with an unloaded weapon.

I hear the white noise too and it's extremely uncomfortable when you use a headset with the volume up, M4 and Magnum.

This true? Because I've logged in and heard loud loading sounds straightaway (in addition to the recent static bursts) and I've always wondered what it is. Is that my alert to the nearby area?
