Idea's for Pk'ing and Deaths.

Recommended Posts

Just died thought up something Which I thought mite be a good or bad idea depends really on how it could be worked in.

1.I find "PK'ing" to be a little...hmm (odd) I know it'd take away some "Realism / scared feeling" but Maybe when you engage a player and take them down, Instead of them being dead.

-You "incap" them to the point where they have to be healed "Morphine,Pills,Bandage etc" And when you go over to the incaped person you can remove there weapon so they cannot return fire if you were to resus them.

I think that would be a good fix for Survivors trying to kill others survivors and getting a bandit skin for self defense.

2. Bandits- You incap another bandit or survivor. You can strip them while there incaped and just leave them to bleed out. Or strip them and make them your prisoner as he would have no gun/food/water etc.(He would have to rely on you) Though I can imagine coding / working this into the mod would be quite lengthy and difficult.

3. Well, If you don't want them to live and think they should be sent to the great Cherno in the sky. Well instead of reviving them or letting them bleed out you can just scroll wheel and kill them "Strangle them or stab them etc"

4. Summing it up - As I said could be a good or bad idea, But I like the idea of there being some form of negotiating instead of just panic shooting everyone also it would be nice to counter betrayal's where one guy decides to off your other partner then he gets mowed down, and your partner is still saveable "Maybe" depending on the circumstances"

I just think something like this would be great for player interaction and would inspire more of the Co-op survival aspect to shine, it'd would also increase the demand for medical supply's and some nice scenarios (hospitals rushes/raids etc to save someone who's about to die and or dieing)

Has potential I think. Still have the option to just kill the person, but you have to get close to deliver the coup-de-grace. Or it could just be a system where if you bleed out to 0 you remain permanently unconcious and any delivered hit after you reach zero kills you: for instance, the zombies are going to keep whacking at you when you hit zero blood, so you die, but if someone snipes you, you drop and bleed down to zero, but the sniper is too busy getting shot to pieces by your friends, you still have a chance to have someone come over, bandage your butt and bloodbag you).

ETA: This obviously breaks the "reality" of being DRT if shot in the head, but meh, lets see what the others think about it.

Indeed! Thank you for reading it all. I like the idea of not killing people as a bandit but still robbing etc more like a mugging :p

Hmm, True about the head shots, I just find alot of people play this for trolling and it's not nice someone saying "I'm friendly and off's you and your mate when you where trying to be helpfull." It's really hard to make friends over the game. "Not friend you bring with you into the game" Because it's just overly dangerous to the point of being stupid" I tried as a survivor to allie with others and found that I was just getting killed 24/7"

Oh also just on another note. I think your humanity should be lost when you die as well? Because you know "You're Dead" you sin's are washed clean are they not ?:P"

Being able to kill others in this mod is essential, people can become unconscious from lack of blood and I do believe they are lootable while in that state, they will later get back up or not. You can kill someone who is unconscious with 1 shot I believe. Most of this stuff is already in the mod I believe, the healing, looting and killing.

But the thing is you wouldn't become unconscious from being repeatedly shot, you'd die.

I disagree with this idea.

Would add an unnecessary complication and possibly break realism and immersion.
