Monny 1 Posted February 5, 2014 Hi!Unfortunately, I am deeply sorry if this is not the right place to post this.. What is more unfortunately is that, whenever i logon im able to play like 1 minute, and sometimes only 10 sec. until i get a pop-up window with following message "DayZ.exe has stopped running". The crash started to happen after i died at balota airfield. Then afterward i created a new player and ran towars the airfield, but now it seems like, whenever im getting close to the airfield, the error just pops up.Im wondering if it could be some kind of a texture bug causing the crash, since im not playing on a high-end computer and sometimes i see bushes all black, like a, yes, a texture bug.Does anybody have the same problem, or is it just me?It would be awesome if i could fix this asap.. Making it worse was when I logged back in it spawned me just outside the front door of a military building, that I had been away from more than 5 minutes. Luckily for me there wasn't anyone around lol. One strange thing I've noticed with this patch is when I launch the game and my character loads his rifle at the menu screen, my sound system freaks out for about 5-10 seconds. LaughingJack (DayZ) 767 Posted March 1, 2014 I had this issue before the latest patch on NEAF...I was on a server, running to the tower...CTD. Conencting another server, making 2 steps....CTD.Wait 5 minutes while my poor char sat all in all already a full minute now on the ground, tried different server, 3 steps forward...CTD.Decided fuck it, last try, joined another server, run in opposite direction...no crash. I don't know if the first 3 servers had something in common that my PC didn't liek or if i stepped on the "Stone of CTD" BI, but it seems to happen sometimes (it is also filed as a bug since some time, but due to the lack of communalities I guess it is hard to find why this happens for the devs... So..maybe just log in another server, and try going somewhere else...full sprint if the stone of CTD follows you ;) Maybe you are as lucky as I was and it goes away without anything... But the texture bugs up hills are also appearing, when I'm running on a steep hill, black ground etc. And I crashes more constantly now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
