Can't Respawn

I just died a few minutes ago and I can't respawn. I hit the respawn button, waited 30 seconds then the "You are dead" message comes back and the respawn button no longer works. Others on Reddit are having the same problem

Exit the server and join back or join another. It is a current bug.

I get this a lot. Leave the server and rejoin/join another often works for me.

Yeah I got the problem until I rejoined the server I died on. That seemed to fix it.

Rocket is aware of the issue and is looking into it

I died yesterday by falling off a roof, I just logged off. Now I get the message your character is dead. I presume there was an update, and am on the same server I died on.

 

Just wondering if there is a way to respawn via cache or something?
