The best idea for bandit identification

Recommended Posts

I definately think this idea will stick :D

If your a bandit, or have a habbit of killing more than you die, your character should form some sort of syndrome. Something like Tourettes or something. So anytime you are near a person, your character blurts out things... like:

"F#$% YOU!" or "YOU S#$%HEAD"

You know, anything that expresses the kind personality of a bandit.(K/D above 1.0)

You could even go as far as making heros/victims say things like:

"I LOVE YOOOUUUU!" or "I need a hug"

You know, that mushy mushy i'm a nice guy stuff.(K/D below .25)

Just a very humorous idea... funny to me.

"Hey he has a clown mask!"

"Hey he has a gun"

"Hey he killed someone just now"

"Hey he isn't talking in chat"

"Hey hes giving me free stuff while not talking"

"Hey hes a good guy....or so he says"

"Friendly"

-All good reasons to be identifiers. If this was a serious idea, then I don't know what you are trying to prove but this will never be implemented. If it was a troll. GG on the posts. Too many obvious quotes for me to avoid.

Wait until there is a much wider variety of clothing and outfits...

Omg he was dressed like a nice guy but killed me !? Bandits are supposed to wear camo and assault vests...

It may not have been serious... but it was in idea to work with. When your player is hurt in game, he/she make noises and says different things. So why not, from the phsycological toll killing ha on the brain, characters develop disabilities that makes them twitch or blurt out things?

You are right. However, did Hitler go around saying things like that? Yes he did. The point here is, when Hitler was alone with his friends he maintained composure, talked normally, helped out fellow GERMANS, and was a decent guy if you excluded the whole Jew situation. The governor off the Walking Dead acted normal too. In fact he played the role of a HERO as some people would say before using his pawns as minions to be a ruthless bandit....TWICE. Granted some people who kill people would mumble random stuff and talk differently, but any good bandit will be used to it and will be able to act normally. Just like in DayZ when kids come around yelling friendly you can tell if they are not friendly by the way they talk (or don't) and act. The best of us however, can easily sway people into believing we are heroes and ax them in the head when their back is turned. In real life I probably couldn't but this is a video game. It is possible to maintain composure after killing people. And do not suggest after so many kills and attempts to see if you are a bandit you become immune and stop mumbling cause that's a sort of leveling system and that is not allowed in Dayz.

Man this idea of killing people having adverse effect on your character has been dredged up so many times.

Such a bad idea.

If your so hung up on KOS then don't get seen first.
