Hexxalot 15 Posted February 3, 2014 Swimming should have some pretty negative effects depending on if it's a cold area or not. I mean i'm pretty sure some of the areas on Chernarus are pretty cold and being drenched in water would be pretty harmful in real life.Also...Shouldn't rain be somewhat damaging? I'm not talking about 'acid' rain or anything like that (even though I get the impression Chernarus is heavily radiated), i mean it should make your clothes damp and lead to sickness to some degree in the colder areas of the map. djporternz 644 Posted February 3, 2014 I think something like that is planned. Can't find the link ATM.
ImmunePower 26 Posted February 4, 2014 There needs to be something like that. It will give raincoats a better use. It will also be better by really making you stay inside so you will have to try and make a longer-term survival base/place.
Otis.Driftwood 204 Posted February 27, 2014 Last time i had leather riders jacket and, it was raining and it said that my clothing are damp, but riders jacket also, which cannot be since it's made 100 % leather. They need to specify what can be damped and what not.
irishroy 1347 Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) also, being wet/damp/cold doesn't make you sick.it just increases the chance/lchallenges the immune-system a bit more. I think many people can confirm this, too. But however, reality =/= DayZ-reality Edited February 27, 2014 by irishroy
Otis.Driftwood 204 Posted February 27, 2014 Dean himself said that the damp will give you sickness like cold, but they will add that later on
