I was playing last night and for the first time I used a hatchet. Such an AMAzing addition to the game. Still a little buggy, but I hope they flesh those melee weapons out.

Oh yes they do. Oh how much blood came out of that wookie when I had a go at him with it.

You can take out an infinite amount of zombies and never get hit with a hatchet. Pull them all into a building and swing from 6 feet away. The hatchet has amazing range that is well out of the melee range of the zeds.
