I am new to Standalone... a few questions...

Hello all :)

 

Yesterday I bought standalone on steam, so I checked out whats new on dayz...

 

I found a few question... :(

 

at first...

- WHY THERE IS NO LOOT? When is loot respawning?

 

second...

- Server-filter does not work? /when I manually type the name of the favorit "HOST" nothing works

 

third...

tthere are no zombies? It feels like I am playing wasteland-mod :D

Get off the coast and you will find loot. It doesn't respawn so head to areas that you don't think will have been looted.

 

The server browser works perfectly for me, it just takes a little while for it to find the server when I use filters.

thanks for answering. So it means, loot respawn, when server-restart?

Are there any plans to change this loot-system?

Yes, loot only spawns on server restarts.

 

Probably yes. I think the way that loot spawns will be changed once the global economy is implemented.

I heard there are no zombies currently little amounts of zombies so it's easier for the dev team to make tests and whatnot.

Using the search function would have given you quick answers to your questions...like most forums...

 

but basically loot only respawns on server restart for now, so people are jumping from server to server taking all the good stuff.

this should be fixed in a few days. (ish)

 

server filters do work, take time some times.

Also if you "favorite" is not online, it just wont show in the "favorite" list...odd and annoying i know (they should have them there always, but greyed out if offline or something)

 

zombies are at a minimum, expect this to change

 

to sum it all up, ALPHA

expect changes and enjoy the ride!
