Chat not working

Hello everyone.


I have been playing the standalone for about 3 weeks now. Not once have I seen(in text) or heard anyone's voice in game. I've confirmed other players are able to see my text in chat but I cannot see anything they type back(or hear what they say). I have tried reinstalling and still have the same issue. Has anyone else had this problem? Any fixes? I could really use some help as not being able to communicate with other players is really taking away from the experience for me. :(

Same here.

I type text into the box, but no one ever responds, and I NEVER see anyone else type anything.

What is going on? Surely it should work.

I press forward slash and type.

If ANYONE can please tell us why it isn't working it would be appreciated.
