Not loading into the map when you start the game

Recommended Posts

When I am done playing, I always hide somewhere and log out. But if the server crashes, it spawns me where I was pretty much. This wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that the game loads you in slowly, and while you are loading it, you can still be attacked. Your character should not appear in the physical world or be able to be attacked until you are able to move. Also, on your end of the screen, it should not show the world loading or what is around you while you are spawning. The screen should remain black until you can move.

The reason I posted this, is because a server reset while I was on it the other day (mysteriously after a buddy of mine killed someone near the airfield..wonder if it was an admin) but then when I rejoined the server I was getting eaten by zombies and wasn't able to do anything until I could move. Anyone else have this problem?

Which also reminds me, you should be able to cancel drinking, eating, etc if you need to get your gun out.

Yeah ive been thinking the same. Though that might make the life of server hoppers abit easier. Well have to see how the new anti server hopping and combat logging measures hold up.
