Help on Losing zombies through buildings

So basically I just cant seem to do be able lose any combination of zombies higher than 1 by using LoS with buildings.

Typically I sprint straight into the build and towards the exit, right before I leave through the exit i switch to the crouching run, I immediately loose LoS by taking a 90 degree turn. I always make it to the outside corner of the building before any zombies have existed the building, once around the corner I go prone and slowly start backing away even further.

Everytime the zombies slowly shamble out the door, and then insta sprint around the corner and 40ft to my location. Even though they have lost LoS for about 5 seconds. Im not making sound as Im prone.

So what gives? What am I doing wrong.

Can someone please record a video on how to lose zeds with the building trick? Cause ive played 5 lives now in a row, where everytime Ive died because the zombies find me after me losing LoS and not making sound. Its almost as if they have heat sensing or can see through walls.
