bombo 0 Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) Hi fellow survivors I've noticed a strange graphical bug that noone else seems to have experienced (based on my google and forums research) and I've never seen this happen to anyone in videos and screenshots. The thing is that at my config and PC the sun can pierce any kind of object including ground itself. But only its glow, not the beams to be more specific (screenshots included). So as a result, even in a deep night or inside a closed building with no windows the sun still blinds me whenever i look at its potential direction, which in the end totally ruins my night gameplay and annoys me in buildings during a daytime. If I choose higher resolution (research purposes), the bug stays, if I choose lower, sun behaves normally (at least i think so). But at lower res the game looks quite horrible to be honest. I believe that HDR has something to do with it, but currently I can only set it on very low – when i set it on low, the graphics go totally crazy and half of the objects would not even appear.I'm not very good at solving HW problems, updating drivers is usually all i can handle, but this seems to me quite like a GPU optimalization issue. I did not want to report this as a bug since i don't know if its my own fault or not, so I'm posting here. If you have any thoughts, throw them at me and I'll be more than glad.
