Question on damage

Recommended Posts

I had a pristine Magnum and a pristine .45 in my pack. Today I found they are both badly damaged. I have taken damage from a few Zeds along the way. I have never been shot. Did the Zeds somehow damage these items?

If so, I think this mechanic needs changing. A zed tearing at your flesh is never going to damage a solid metal firearm stowed in your pack.

It's possible. Zombies damage your backpack when it hits you in the back, therefore the damage would go to the items in the pack. I usually just keep my pistols in my pants or a holster to stop stuff like this.

Them Zombies must be kick boxing or karate monsters to do that, i'm pretty sure i couldn't break a magnum with my hands, unless i took it apart and stomped on it.

Unless you've been shot, yes the zombies have ruined the things in your backpack.

No, not been shot (yet). 100% zed inflicted damage. And only a hit here and there, easily recovered from.
