Anyone else fallen through a floor or stairs before?

I was having a pretty rough looting time in elektro, I kept getting killed while finding nothing good but food, kept getting really good respawns at elektro, then killed again. Then finally I decided to run in one last time. I went to the top of the school house office building thing, and it was as if god had taken a holy shit onto the earth just for me. I found a mosin and a PU scope just sitting there on the top of the building, waiting for me. It was all pristine.  I got it and ran the hell away. I found some ammo for the mosin in another building I was looting. 

 

So then I was walking up some stairs in hope for some food and then bam. I fell through the 2nd floor or stairs. It was right at the end of the stairs. I was thinking holy shit, this cannot be happening. As soon as I get good gear, I am bound to crash into some stupid bug. I was freaking out a lot and I was telling myself I would not die because of this dumbass bug. So I kept trying to re-log on different servers but no luck. I tried running around the inside of the "space" under the stars and no luck. Finally I tried squeezing my guy as far as he could under the stair case, then re-logged and he thankfully appeared on the top of the stairs so I ran out of there and got out of Elektro. 

 

I thought they fixed this stuff... it's like the same thing that happened in the dayz mod.

sorry to do this but i'm going to play the Alpha card. It'll probably exist somewhat in full release too but dw if they get a physics system working we will probably die when being crushed through the wall then haha

I've gotten stuck in the guts of the buildings before too as have many others lots of threads about it already, i'm 100% sure the devs are aware and are working on it but right now i don't think that it would be a high priority for them, especially seeing it's fairly easy to glitch yourself out atm; again alphur.

Did you try running into the wall and logging out while still running? This worked for me. When I logged back in I was on the other side.

I was told this by a kind passer by whose attention I got to ask to shoot me through the wall :D

The only solution is to avoid going up stairs, into buildings, and up ladders. Once you have eliminated all of these from your DayZ life, remove your pants and become a mountain bandit

Personally, I like some of the glitches, gives the game character. Others, not so much.
