Random crashing after an hour or so

every time im playing standalone, usually for a while, the game just crashes, as in freezes up completely, forcing me to ctrl alt del and end it through the task manager

 

Ive been monitoring this for a while, and it happens anywhere, but if im just starting the game, or playing after a crash, no matter where i am, cities, forests, small towns, it runs fine, but in these same places if i have been playing for a while, it will crash

 

have never had this happen on the mod

Ya im sure you are not the only person this has happened to, ive also seen it. However ive no idea how to fix it, for me it just went away...

lucky, its so annoying, especially since i cant tell what server i was in last
ive tried tweaking the graphics, making them really high, and making them really low

id go with everything as low as you can put it, cant go wrong there, after that i did turn off as many other programs as i could on my pc to give the game just that little bit more processing power! you could try that.
